Indication : For the Management of Stroke and Alzheimer’s disease.

Stroke is a medical condition in which blood clots in brain resulting in cell death. A traumatic brain injury (TBI) is defined as a blow to the head or a penetrating head injury that disrupts the normal function of the brain. TBI can result when the head suddenly and violently hits an object or when an object pierces the skull and enters brain tissue.

Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive disorder that causes brain cells to waste away (degenerate) and die. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia -a continuous decline in thinking, behavioral and social skills that disrupts a person’s ability to function independently.

MOA: Piracetam binds with phospholipids and restore the lamellar structure.
