Neuropathic pain is an outcome of disturbance of central or peripheral nervous system. It is a chronic pain state that usually is accompanied by tissue injury.
MOA : Pregabalin bind to the α2δ subunit of VGCC and inhibits influx of calcium and release of glutamate, norepinephrine neurotransmitter release. Nortriptyline inhibits reuptake of neurotransmitter serotonin at the neuronal membrane.
