Indication : Treatment of Epilepsy, Mania and Migraine.
Epilepsy is the disease involving recurrent unprovoked seizures. It occurs due to
abnormal excessive neuronal activity in brain.
Migraine is a primary headache disorder characterized by recurrent headaches that
are moderate to severe. Typically, the headaches affect one half of the head, are
pulsating in nature, and last from a few hours to 3 days. Associated symptoms may
include nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light, sound or smell.
Mania a manic episode is an emotional state characterized by a period of at least one
week where an elevated, expansive or unusually irritable mood exists.
MOA : It blocks seizure by increasing concentration of GABA.
